The Fitzroy
Savannah, GA
Nestled in Savannah’s Historic District, The Fitzroy is the newest addition to the city’s growing restaurant scene. The building’s roots date back to the 1800s when it was a venue for boxing matches. Now, craft cocktails and an Australian-inspired menu are served in 5,000 sq. ft. A nod to the boxing history has subtly been woven throughout.
A private dining room and deck await guests on the second floor.
Complementing Materials & Finishes
Throughout the design and construction process, attention was carefully considered to how each material, color and finish would pair together to create a cohesive and intimate feel. The copper and Carrara marble running throughout paired with saddle-leather bar stools, and teal banquettes are accentuated against the deep navy color on the walls and trim. Details such as Savannah brick, an existing English bar from the 1700's, as well as the stair posts and railing were uncovered and restored.
