We specialize in creating thoughtful and researched color stories that unites a space or exterior creating cohesion within all the elements from the exterior surroundings and architectural materiality to interior finishes and furniture pieces
Process
What to Expect
During the color consulting process, we study the undertones and tonal values of the colors, and complement them with the natural and artificial lighting conditions, and surrounding elements. We also consider the physiological and psychological effects of the colors to ensure the colors specified best suit the application and the user.
Our color consultation services are offered virtually and on-site for small to large scale residential and commercial interiors and exteriors. We have developed a methodology to bridge distance, creating the same personalized experience and results virtually as on-site.
1 Discovery
The discovery phase is where we obtain all the pertinent information about the project from the property location, project scope, to preferences on colors and finishes.
2 Concept Development
The concept development phase is where we spend time researching and defining the precise color palette, products, and finishes. We then meet to review the initial color palette concepts and direction.
3 Color Testing On-Site or Virtually
The color testing phase is where we spend time testing the colors on-site or virtually in relationship with the interior and exterior elements, materials, and natural and artificial lighting conditions to ensure the color is perfect for the application.
4 Documentation
The documentation phase is where we finalize the color palette, and the finish and product specifications. Once the specifications have been defined we will provide a final presentation and paint schedule.
5 Application
The application phase is where we coordinate with the applicable consultants and installers overseeing the painting of the project to ensure the precise color, finish, and application requirements are conveyed and followed.
6 Oversight & Project Management
The oversight & project management phase is optional and can be added on to a project at any phase. We customize the level of oversight and management to align with the project scope, requirements, and client preferences.
7 Final Photography
Once the application and painting process is complete we coordinate with the owner and photographer to obtain final photography of the project. *Note photography is not required.
