Lincoln Park, Chicago

Located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, the inspiration for this private residence was the owner’s color blindness. A palette designed for the owner’s visual requirements of strong contrasting hues and shades of purple evoke visual impact and harmony. The colors both compliment and contrast at key placements to ensure appropriate visibility throughout.  The airiness of the slight lavender and blue neutrals juxtapose with the deep navy creates a masculine structure and balance, while complimenting the rich woodwork and historic bones of the home.
