JW Salon

JW Salon is situated within the heart of the historic district in downtown Savannah in a historic building from the 1800’s with historic Savannah grey brick throughout the interiors.

The salon reception area, salon floor, processing area, and bathrooms were refreshed and streamlined with new furniture, casegoods, paint, lighting; and the floors refinished to create a more modern, clean line, and dramatic look while maintaining the existing historic elements of the building. The salon styling stations were redesigned and increased to allow for double booking, as well as adding a dedicated processing area that could also be used as additional styling stations when needed.

Designed for Style

Each station was redesigned by adding expansive mirrors and floating shelves in maple laminate that perfectly complements the existing maple ceiling, trim, flooring, and walls. As well as new styling chairs, mats, custom carts, and LED integrated can and track lighting added throughout.

The station carts were custom designed based on research gathered from each stylist's needs, specialties, and requested features. They were designed to be versatile by allowing stylists to easily move them around the styling chairs while working; place hot tools on the honed granite surface added to the top of the cart; place needed tools in the custom designed tool drawer units that have integrated power inside; easily lock them in place while working with the locking casters, then when done the stations can be neatly tucked under the floating shelf, saving precious floor space.
